Diaper Bag....

Ok...I am slow getting started, but I eventually want to do this more and more!!! I LOVE to create bags and mix and match fabric!!!

Sooooo, here is a diaper bag I made the other week for a friend's baby shower. She is having a lil boy...but as my daughter put it...you are never sure until they are here! That is why I decided to go with yellows and greens with a pop of a few other colors. The bottom is a green fabric {sorry for the color} with Winnie the Pooh characters. I chose a complementary yellow for the top half


I added a pocket on each end for that lil pacifier or much needed teather...you can NEVER have too many pockets!!!

Inside you will find 2 more HUGE pockets to hold all your necessities. I also can add 2 more on the other side making it "pocket~rific"!!!

Getting to WORK!!!

Ok...I am slowly getting there. I am off and running to make 2 diaper bags by this weekend. {yes - I am what you call CRAZY!!!!} Anywhoo.....I will take pics and post them to show ya what I am doing and the styles that I have to work with. I hope to get my new machine soon and then I can really TAKE off. I also found an outlet to sell my goods here close to home ~ go me!!!! Things are looking up.

If anyone had suggestions on getting fabric at a STEAL!!! let me know. I am also in search of labels to attach to my bags.....I guess I shall GOOGLE :)

WELCOME

Well....I am branching out and taking the BIG leap. I love to sew. My momma gave me a sewing machine for my graduation. I made all 6 of my bridesmaid's dresses, 2 flowergirl outfits and the ringbearer pillows. But, my passion lies in making BAGS!!! I love to combine fabric and see what comes out. I even create diaper bags, pillow quilts and NOW...I think I am going to branch into Tee's. Screen printing that is. EXCITEMENT!!!!
